The MG-50Li is the NUX family’s flagship multi-effects processor for guitar and bass, built around two core technologies: TS/AC-4K white-box physical modeling amps and DeepImage profiling amp models. Players everywhere can enjoy using the MG-50Li thanks to its streamlined design, free-flowing interface, and high-quality tones.

Featuring an aluminum alloy enclosure and pedal, six footswitches, and a high-definition LCD, the MG-50Li offers a timeless, player-friendly design suitable for any performance setting. It’s remarkably simple for players to adjust the effects chain to craft any sound they want.

NUX TS/AC-4K Physical Modeling Algorithm & DeepImage profiling amps

The MG-50Li features our iconic TS/AC-4K Amp Modeling (White-box Physical Modeling algorithm), which is twice as complex as that found in previous versions. This led us to design a new hardware platform with three DSPs: one dedicated to handling all effects, another to running the amp modeling algorithm, and the third to supporting the split amp simulation functionality. Now we’ve even split Amp Modeling into separate preamp and power amp simulations. This means you can select different power tube models to craft unique, creative sounds.

Power Amps:

NUX further expands tonal possibilities via our proprietary black-box technology: DeepImage! This innovative system lets you load NAM (our single-layer Image Capture) into the Image Loader, seamlessly integrating it into the AMP block.

L/R Cyber IR

The MG-50Li features Cyber IR™ Technology — a true impulse response reproduction with an advanced algorithm that supports Microphone, Position, and Distance adjustments, providing stereo IR capabilities with ultra-low latency.

Parallel/Serial effect chain with 14 effect blocks

Packing up to 14 simultaneous effect blocks and ultra-flexible dual-chain routing, the MG-50Li unlocks endless tonal possibilities. Musicians can customize the effects chain freely to dial in their dream tones.

The MG-50Li features pro-grade I/Os tailored for live use: two effect loops for your favorite pedals, stereo XLR outputs for direct mixer linking, and MIDI in/out for seamless connection to your MIDI control gear.

Capture Your Favorite Amps & Preamps

With the NUX IMAGE app and DeepImage technology, you can capture your favorite amps, preamps, OD and DIST pedals, then store their profiles directly on the MG-50Li—letting you bring all your go-to amps with you anywhere effortlessly. You can also craft incredible tones via the NUX IMAGE app by combining these captures with different EQ models and power amp tube models.

USB Audio Interface

As laptops continue to include fewer USB ports, users often rely on USB hubs or adapters, which can disrupt the plug-and-play experience and potentially cause conflicts. The MG-50Li also serves as a USB audio interface, minimizing setup time and freeing up space, allowing you to focus more on playing and creativity.

NUX Audio App control (Mobile, Win/Mac)

Patches can be edited directly from the front panel or through the NUX Audio app on your phone or computer for customization. Equipped with a high-definition color LCD display that stays readable even in bright daylight, the MG-50Li provides you with everything you need to dial in your sound and perform with confidence.
