B-8
The B-8 Guitar Wireless System is a professional-grade solution in NUX’s Pro Series. Built on our third-generation platform, it combines anti-interference tech, intelligent frequency hopping, 1MHz narrowband transmission, Audio Zip/Unzip, six stability levels, and a true-diversity dual-antenna design for rock-solid, reliable signal. The latest firmware further improves wireless performance with better transmission efficiency and stronger interference resistance.
Designed for guitars, basses, and any instrument with a 1/4″ output, the system pairs a beltpack transmitter with a multifunction pedal receiver. It operates at 2.4 GHz, supports auto-pairing, delivers 24-bit/48 kHz audio, achieves latency down to 2.5 ms, and reaches up to 165 ft (50 m) line-of-sight. The transmitter’s built-in lithium battery provides up to 6.5 hours of runtime! Enough for rehearsals, sessions, and gigs.
Intelligent Frequency Hopping
While in use, the B-8 automatically scans the 2.4GHz band and switches to the cleaner channel when interference is detected, ensuring a stable connection and clear audio throughout your performance.

1MHz Narrowband Transmission for Improved Spectrum Efficiency
The B-8 system reduces the channel bandwidth from 2MHz to 1MHz, significantly improving the utilization of the 2.4GHz frequency band and expanding the number of available channels to up to 79. This gives the intelligent frequency hopping technology more channel options to effectively avoid interference from Wi-Fi and other wireless devices. In environments with a high density of wireless equipment, this ensures more stable and reliable signal transmission.
For multiple guitarists in the band, a maximum of 10 B-8 units can be used simultaneously to maintain optimal wireless performance and stability.

6-Level Stability And Audio Zip/Unzip
The B-8 offers 6 levels of stability (2.5ms–8.7ms). Higher stability levels increase the number of signal transmissions, with up to 12 transmissions every 8.7ms. (Since interference is time-varying, more frequent transmissions can help avoid interference issues.)
It uses Audio Zip/Unzip technology with 24-bit/48kHz quality to ensure clear and stable sound, working in combination with 6-level stability settings. The 1MHz Zip technology enhances anti-interference performance — “like a motorcycle (1MHz) navigating around traffic along a crowded highway (2.4GHz~2.483GHz) more smoothly than a truck (4MHz).” The Unzip technology preserves high-resolution sound quality without any compromise.

A True Diversity Dual Antenna
Two antennas on both transmitter and receiver are used to automatically pick the strongest signal, preventing dropouts and dead spots. With frequency hopping, 1MHz narrowband, and 6-level stability settings, it stable operating range up to 165 ft (50 meters) for smooth, reliable audio.

Beltpack Transmitter
The compact beltpack clips easily to a strap or pocket. Its jack design prevents rotation and loosening—keeping the plug secure even during energetic movement. B-8 fits electric and electro-acoustic guitars, basses, and other instruments with pickups.

Cable Tone
The TX features a cable tone simulation which is normally used for some guitar players to get a warmer sound. If you want it, you can pull the switch and turn it on.

A Multifunction Pedal Receiver
The B-8 combines multiple practical features into one unit, including wireless transmission, tuner, junction box, boost, buffer, DI functions, guitar input and a magnetic charging port for the transmitter. This all-in-one design greatly simplifies stage equipment connection and control, improving live performance efficiency.

A 2.4-Inch Color Display with Horizontal and Vertical display
The receiver features a 2.4-inch color screen that shows battery level, input volume, and settings in real time, making monitoring and adjustments quick and easy to improve on-stage efficiency. The screen supports both Horizontal and Vertical display modes to meet different usage needs.

And On-Board Tuner
The included tuner features NUX’s high-sensitivity tuner for accurate and smooth tuning. Four tuning modes are available: Chromatic, Guitar Standard, Guitar Compensated, and Bass. The A4 reference frequency is adjustable from 430Hz to 450Hz, with customizable tuner animations.

A 12dB Clean Boost
Increase your guitar volume and dynamics with 0 to +12dB boost for a fuller sound. Ideal for soloing, enhancing an overdrive, and maintaining consistent output during pickup changes. This ensures a clear and powerful performance.

Magnetic Charging Port
The pedal receiver has a magnetic charging port. Just place the transmitter on it to start charging—no plugs needed. The magnetic connection is secure and lets you quickly recharge during breaks.

Junction Box with Buffer
A Built-in Send/Return loop, Input/Output interfaces, and buffer function simplify effects connections, optimize cable routing, and ensure stable signal, making pedalboard setup easier and neater.

DI Output to the Mixer
The B-8 also features a professional grade DI output with XLR balanced connection that reduces signal loss and noise, improving sound quality. No extra equipment needed, making connections simple and suitable for live performance and recording.

Receiver Power
Supports standard 9V/500mA or 12V/500mA (center negative) power supply used by most pedals. It is recommended to use the power adapter included in the package to reduce noise and ensure stable, clear audio.

Applications
Here we listed some possible applications of the B-8 wireless system.
Application 1
Connect your guitar to the TX, and connect the RX to an amplifier or a mixer, or both. When the TX is powered off, you can directly connect your guitar to the RX’s INPUT jack.

Application 2
Connect your guitar to the TX, and connect the RX to an amplifier or a mixer, or both. You can loop your favorite effect pedals via SEND/ RETURN jacks to the RX. When the TX is powered off, you can directly connect your guitar to the RX’s INPUT jack.

Reminder:
If using B-8 with B-7 PRO, keep the B-8 TX away from the B-7 PRO RX to avoid interference. For example, wear the B-8 TX on your strap and place the B-7 PRO RX on the opposite side of your body (see image).

Customize your own Boot-up picture
You can customize the boot-up picture with a GIF. Download the “B-8 GIF Customizer” app and follow these steps.
Download and install “B-8 GIF Customizer” from the Support section. Connect B-8 to your computer and launch the app. Disconnect and reboot the unit, then go to DISPLAY and set BOOT-UP PICTURE to USER.

Custom Tuner Display Mode
The B-8 V2 firmware also includes a new tuner mode, allowing you to customize the display by importing your own images. Showcase your guitar hero, band, family photo, or even your favorite guitar, and make it unique!

*How to Import Your Image:
(1) Download the free “NUX GlF Customizer” app on your computer or your mobile phone.
(2) On your B-8, go to the SETTING menu, select TUNER – TUNING DISPLAY, and switch to the custom display.
(3) Connect your B-8 to your computer or mobile phone.
(4) Import your image using the NUX GIF Customizer app.

Free yourself while playing!
No matter gigging with a band or playing at home, you can free yourself with the B-8 wireless system and enjoy playing with high-quality audio.
